The Autumn Sun was described as a world class colt after his win in the Golden Rose (1400m) on Saturday and with that being the case, he has an absolute stranglehold on the Tab.com.au all in market for the Caulfield Guineas (1600m).
His win at Rosehill was just unbelievable. Had to wait and ease while those in front had momentum and were going flat out yet he still rounded them up for an indeed world class win. He was $5 prior to the race but after that outstanding triumph, he’s now at $2.80 and seemingly the only thing beating him is the first look around Caulfield.
Runner up Zousain, who interestingly has firmed in the market for The Everest, is $11 in from $26 with Graff ($8-$15) drifting after seemingly not running out the strong 1400m.
Extra Brut and Gem Song, who won nicely on Saturday, both tightened into $26 from $51.
