TAB hands out Bonus Bets as a ‘sorry’ for technical issues

The TAB has given out Bonus Bets to loyal customers as a sorry for their technical issues over the weekend.

The TAB.com.au has handed out thousands of bonus bets to customers after their systems had major techincal issues over the weekend prevented loyal customers from betting on Stakes day at Flemington with issues persisting into Sundays races.

The issue, believed to have been caused by a disruption to the power at one of their server location centres, shut down the TAB’s systems on one of the premier days of the spring.

Racing officials around the country delayed their meetings in the hope the problem would be rectified but it continued into the afternoon and evening with many frustrated punters unable to place bets.

The failure is reported to have cost Tabcorp upto $100million in turn over and caused a lot of customers to vent their frustration on social media.

To help ease the frustration and build back rapport with customers the TAB has handed out Bonus Bets from $20 up to $100 to customers as a ‘sorry’ gesture.

The TAB are also providing by far the biggest and best promotion on this weekends races with bonus back offers on 56 races across Australia’s feature race meetings.
