Punters have crunched Vilana in today's Winterbottom Stakes
Vilana has taken over as favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the feature race this afternoon. the Group l Winterbottom Stakes (1200m) at Ascot.
The James Cummings trained four year old was an impressive winner of The Hunter two weeks at Newcastle and despite drawing awkwardly, he has been backed with confidence, now into $4.80 from $6.50 and is the new favourite.
Rothfire had been favourite throughout the week but the last 24 hours has been quite soft, opening $4.50 and has gone all the way out to $6. He is a half point clear of 2020 Winterbottom winner Elite Street.
