Last start Robert Sangster Stakes winner Spright has opened as the outright favourite the Saturday’s feature at Morphettville The Goodwood Handicap over 1200m.
Spright wen’t into the Sangster Stakes as arguably the best horse in the country without a G1 win having placed on multiple occasions and now that she has broken the drought punters think she can go back to back in The Goodwood this weekend where she is the well backed $3.40 favourite.
Outside the favourite local galloper Despatch has been the best backed runner at double figure odds with the $13 quickly snapped up and is now into $10.
Group One winner Booker has also had support and is $9.50 into $9.00 in what is a pretty weak G1 field.
