Punters have deserted South Australian Derby favourite Leicester for High ‘N’ Dry.
Leicester, prepared by champion trainer Darren Weir, has eased from $3.50 to the $3.80 favourite with sportsbet.com.au.
However, the three-year-old, is fifth on the popularity list with punters.
High ‘N” Dry ($6.00 into $5.50) is the best supported runner, with the online bookmaker.
Next in market order and popularity is Tangled ($6.00).
Main Stage ($15 into $12) has also been well supported and holds more money than Leicester.
“We’re sure money will eventually come for the Leicester. The Weir stable has been in great form and punters are usually right behind his team, but it seems this time they are weighing up other options,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Will Byrne.
