Alaskan God heads the odds in the Perth Cup
Alaskan God has been the early firmer with Ladbrokes.com.au for the feature race at Ascot this Saturday, the Perth Cup (2400m).
The four year old was favourite when the first running was conducted on New Years Day but that race was abandoned after a nasty fall. This weekend is Perth Cup 2.0 and the WA Derby winner is favourite, sitting at $4.00, in from $4.50.
ATA winner Truly Inspired is rock solid on the second line of betting at $4.80, clear of Towton Cup winner Buster Bash at $6.50, sitting alongside Neufbosc, a previous winner of the Perth Cup.
