Sportsbet.com.au punters are baffled as to who will win the feature at Randwick this Saturday, the Carrington Stakes (1400m), with several key runners supported at some stage.
The topweight is Ecuador, an impressive first up winner at Rosehill. He opened at $3.80 but there has not been a lot of support late which has seen him drift to $4.00 aseeing Oxford Poet now the outright favourite despite drifting from $3.70 out to $3.90. Last start winner Gold Symphony, who can be hit and miss at times, has been $4.80 into $4.20 and the best backed runner.
Ninth Legion, who comes off a last start Stakes placing in Brisbane is rock solid at $5, as is the case with Princefamous at $6.50. Shiraz and Wouldn’t It Be Nice are the two runners unwanted, sitting at $13 and $21 respectively.
