Punters have loaded up on a 2YO first starter at Sandown on Saturday.
The Godolphin owned Anthony Freedman trained Hanseatic has been subject of a betting plunge in the first at Sandown on Zipping Classic day this weekend with multiple big bets placed on the colt by Street Boss.
Hanseatic trialled on Monday and was beaten 5L by Celestial Sol who was set to line-up in the race for Robbie Lang but has since been scratched, with the scratchings and the flood of money the horses odds have been crunched from his opening price of $6 into $3.30.
There has been multiple big bets on the colt inc bets of $5,000 e/w, $4,000 e/w and $4,000 straight out and plenty more around that mark on regally bred colt who is out of a winning relation to Black Caviar and he now holds clear favouritism.
All other runners have shortened in the market but that is due to the scratching of the favourite Tagaloa this morning.
