Punters back a handful in the PB Lawrence Stakes

Mr Brightside and Scallopini are the two horses singled out by Ladbrokes punters when it comes to the feature race at Caulfield this afternoon, the PB Lawrence Stakes (1400m).

Doncaster winner Mr Brightside is resuming for what could be a big Spring, with the Cox Plate a potential target for the gelding. He heads the market at $3.50 ahead of Queensland raider Scallopini at $4.20, who ran second in the Bletchingly.

I Am Superman is rock solid at $5.50 while lightly raced import Uncle Bryn has been the one specked, into $10 after opening as a $19 prospect.
