Sportsbet.com.au have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find a runner from each city that appears overs in betting.
Moonee Valley Race Five Number 1 Reldas ($4.80):
Gee this looks a tempting price. I had him marked around the $3.50 mark. He hasn’t raced since May 6 at Morphettville in the McKay where he got back off them in the run before presenting wider and savaging the line to just miss out on picking up Karacatis. Form out of that has been good, but most importantly, Reldas is fresh and at the Valley. Ideal recipe for success.
Rosehill Race Seven Number 2 Zin Zan Eddie ($71):
He’s a very good wet tracker this horse, so I think at $71, he is definitely worth a speck each way. Resumed on a rock hard track over 1200m here a fortnight back and didn’t like it at all behind Firsthand. Much better when he gets his toe in, which is what will happen here, and he is well in at the weights after the claim.
Ipswich Race Seven Number 2 Jumbo Prince ($5.50):
Looks the clear overs in the Ipswich Cup because I think he should be favourite. Ripping campaigner for the Mick Nolan stable at Toowoomba who rarely runs a bad race. In saying that, he did run a shocker last time out but it was on the Eagle Farm surface behind Kaiser Franz. Ran second in this race last year and looks to be going better 12 months on.
Morphettville Race Seven Number 12 Clonmel ($5.50):
Market has got this wrong. Should be favourite IMHO. Former O’Leary runner who has had two runs for Will Clarken and has been outstanding each time, winning both races. Clarken is on par with Weir in terms of getting a new lease of life on tried horses. Should be winning.
