Phillip Stokes trains this daughter of Uncle Mo, who debuted over 1100m at Gawler and you had to like the way she knuckled down to the task when she put her mind to it, running third to Le Dezaley. Can only improve off that now she has the run under the belt and the claim for Finnegan certainly helps. $6 elsewhere.
Morphettville Parks Race Five Number 2 Sullivan Bay ($6.00):
Keep in mind she was a late nomination, so the stable have seen this may be a thin race and they can get a resuming win for her. She was a real beauty during the Winter/Spring, performing at a really good level at Caulfield for the most part, with her last run being a fourth to Snitty Kitty. Jump outs have been good, she can sprint well fresh and has a fab record here. Clear overs.
Morphettville Parks Race Seven Number 10 Needy Rocket ($13):
David Jolly trained son of Murtajill who was unwanted in betting when resuming at Murray Bridge over 900m but despite that I thought he ran well in defeat when second to Classy Jack. Probably not well in at the weights given his lowly rating, but he’s in the right stable and up to 1000m suits. Looks the clear value.
Morphettville Parks Race Eight Number 4 Zalmona ($10):
Can’t go wrong backing each way. Had been struggling for form for a little while but it’s high now after a couple of very impressive wins, the latest coming over the 1100m last Saturday when chasing hard from the back and just getting the stride in. Think the rise to 1250m looks ideal and he gets the claim for in form apprentice Sairyn Fawke.
