The Blue Diamond winner is $4.00 favourite and the best backed runner with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au.
Golden Slipper runner-up, English, is equal second favourite with Ready For Victory at $4.60.
“On the strength of his win in the Blue Diamond, Pride Of Dubai deserves top spot. However, he is stepping up to 1400m and hasn’t raced for a month, so English and Ready For Victory have a fitness edge,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Christian Jantzen.
In the Australian Derby, the Chris Waller trained Preferment holds favouritism at $3.50. Hauraki, who wears the royal blue of Godolphin is pressing him at $3.70. Next best is Rosehill Guineas winner Volkstok’n’barrell ($4.60) and New Zealand Derby winner Mongolian Khan ($8.00).
