Maher/Eustace filly backed on debut in Reisling Stakes

Greece, on debut, has been the early firmer in the Sportsbet.com.au all in market for the Reisling Stakes (1200m) this Saturday at Randwick.

The Maher/Eustace trained filly needs to win to secure a Golden Slipper berth and those who have watched her trials say she goes very good. That’s reflected in early betting with the filly now at $2.70, in from $3.

Favourite for the race is Russian Conquest, who is at $2.20. Coolangatta opened $2.50 but is out to $3 and is unlikely to start given the stable want to give Greece the best chance to qualify for the Slipper.
