2. King Of Roseau: King Of Roseau has been given a mini freshen up for Peter Snowden since resuming on Stakes Day at Flemington when somewhat struggling on the wet ground but was far from disgraced in defeat. Fitter, firmer deck, he appeals.
3. Spywire: Spywire looks to have returned in beast mode for Ciaron Maher and could get back to Stakes grade before too long. Loved the way he let down to win fresh at Kembla a few weeks back, driving hard late from off speed to wear them down and finish best. Fitter, firmer deck is fine, can press forward, takes beating.
4. The Three Hundred: The Three Hundred is a GaiBott trained four year old that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since the Coffs Cup when down the track but looked a tired horse. 1200m is on the short side for him but he does have a touch of quality so watch the market.
5. Master Of Disguise: SCR
6. Divo: Thought he did a really good job last time at Canterbury when on speed and just failed to get there when second to Tasoraay. Good racing style and is dangerous at a price if he finds the front with control.
7. Northlander: SCR
8. Point Score: Nice horse but needs it easier and at 1000m.
9. O’Ole: Last 150m was awful on Oaks Day, indicating something was amiss or she simply wasn’t fit. Tick over trial indicates she is back on track…she does seem very short given the form around her and last start, but she gets the weight pull and a kind map.
