Le Romain has been best backed in early Tramway Stakes betting
A star studded field has been assembled for the Tramway Stakes (1400m) this Saturday at Randwick, with a host of winning chances and that is reflected in the market.
Pierata heads betting at $3.30 but has been easy already, drifting after opening $2.80. The best backed early has clearly been Le Romain, who is at $3.70 after opening $4.
Lanciato ($7-$7.50) is solid, as is the superstar himself Tom Melbourne ($8-$7.50-$8). There has been an early nibble for Caulfield Cup aspirant Egg Tart ($31-$26-$27).
