Into The Abyss has had some specking in early Crockett Stakes betting
Punters are keeping their powder dry when it comes to the Crockett Stakes (1200m) on Saturday at Moonee Valley.
Heading the market is Assertive Play at $4.40, but has eased from $4.20. She holds the call over Spanish Whisper and Into The Abyss at $5.50, with the latter firming in from $6.
The filly that has been dominant at the provincials, Rainbow Girl, looks the likely leader and appears a touch of value at $7.50. The unbeaten Beauty hasn’t budged from $12.
