Caulfield- Tuesday, August 18, Weather Fine, Track Good 4.
Heat Two- Running Bull (3rd):
Quality galloper for Peter Moody who hasn’t raced since May when running sixth behind Mr Utopia. He looked pretty sharp in this particular jump out, where he got away well to sit behind the speed before cutting back to the inside and hitting the line strongly to finish a close up third.
Heat Four- In A Smile (1st):
Another Peter Moody runner that caught the eye last prep when winning a maiden on Terang Cup Day in impressive style. Prior to that she ran fourth at the Valley behind then boom youngster Secret Agenda. In A Smile got away well in this trial to settle fourth before being pushed out to take the lead close to home and winning impressively.
Heat Seven- Parwan Prince (1st):
Handy type for Henry Dwyer who ran a disappointing last at Bendigo a couple of weeks back, but he looked much better in this jump out, where he led all the way and just bolted in under a hold. He was clearly the best of the morning.
