RACE ONE
Favourite backers were off to a fantastic start in the Iron Jack Handicap (1100 metres).
Cellsabeel ($2.50-$2-$2.10) jumped a dominant favourite and held 57 percent of the total investment in the opener. She was heavily tried through multis too and was three times as popular as second favourite Beyliks ($3.80).
In Flanders ($16-$11) and Return With Honour ($4.40-$5.50) were the only others to attract some sort of decent money.

RACE TWO
There was some light backing for Roseirro to suggest it would run a big race in the TAB Highway Handicap (1500 metres).
The Terry Robinson-trained gelding was $23-$17-$19 and had some nice eachway bets riding on it.
Most of the support here sat with the favourite Absolute Trust ($2.80-$3.60) despite being a drifter, while there was support for Show Me The Honey ($11-$9.50), Dubai Tycoon ($6.50) and Whos Shout ($7.50).

RACE THREE
Lashes did the right thing by those taking the shorts by winning the Lou Cox Handicap (1100 metres) in good fashion.
Sent out an odds-on favourite with TAB Fixed Odds, $1.80 was on offer at the jump after she bottomed out at $1.60 at point during the day.
Lashes went out with a tick under half the total investment with Switched ($3.70) the only one seriously tried to beat the fav.

RACE FOUR
No Escape blew most people out of the water in the first leg of the BIG6 – the NSW Bookmaker Co-Operative Handicap (1350 metres).
Going around at $34 after opening the day as a $17 chance, No Escape was largely ignored by punters and held just over 1 percent of the money that the favourite Stella Sea Sun ($3-$2.50-$2.80) did.
Jen Rules ($4-$5.50) blew late in betting while there was a push for Julian Rock ($3.80-$4.40-$4.20) and Manhattan Mist ($15-$8.50-$10).

RACE FIVE
Big Parade was a big drifter late in betting for the running of the Jack Ashman Handicap (1300 metres).
The Clare Cunningham-trained galloper was a short favourite right throughout the week, with $2.30 on offer for most of the day today before a late blow saw it start $3.10.
Aim For Perfection ($4-$3.40) was the subject of a late rally while Belitsa ($10-$8) firmed along with Unguarded ($9-$7.50).
Enfleurage ($11) had some admirers at the eachway quote.

RACE SIX
In a race of many firmers it was one that actually drifted that took out the Mark Merlino Handicap (1200 metres).
Inanup went $4.20-$7 and was mainly ignored by TAB punters who were more than happy to take the price about Dio Doro ($5), Tonys Reward ($6) and He’s A Hotshot ($3.40-$4.60).
There were pushes for Drachenfels ($16-$8.50), High Cost ($41-$15), Magnarock ($21-$15) and Charlie Cat ($81-$41).

RACE SEVEN
Embracer defied the betting drift in the Bill Waterhouse Handicap (1200 metres).
The Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott-trained runner was a $3.50 favourite in the morning but by race time, $4.60 was on the table.
Embracer was still the most popular runner in terms of money held in front of River Bird ($7.50) while the two at the top of the racebook, Connemara ($10-$7.50) and Laburnum ($8-$5.50) were notable firms.

RACE EIGHT
Two moves at long odds ensured punters were on top after the running of the Bookmakers Recognition Raceday Trophy (2000 metres).
While Word For Word and Mr Dependable were the two most popular runners, it was Birth Of Venus ($11-$6.50) and Magic Over The Bay ($8-$5-$5.50) which were the movers in the market.
The pair finished one-two while Word For Word ($4.40-$3.50-$4.20) and Mr Dependable ($2.80-$4.20) were costly to their admirers once again.

Bandersnatch defied the betting drift to take out the Rosehill Bowling Club Handicap (1500 metres).
The $2.50 favourite blew from a quote of $1.55 which was available at 9am this morning.
Welsh Legend ($3.80-$4.40) had her share of admirers while there was good backing for Condor ($6.50), Notio ($26-$12) and Muswellbrook ($16-$9) throughout the day while the late push was for Costello ($23-$17-$10) which nearly came off.

The most popular runner in the Flemington Event Staff Handicap (1100 metres) got the cash for punters in the opener.
Personal went around with nearly 50 percent more money than anything else and was a losing result for TAB after jumping a $4 favourite.
Avenue Of Pleasure, the $3.80 favourite in the morning, blew alarmingly to start a $6 shot. Every single runner in the race carried some sort of decent investment.

Punters were on the money in the Donate To Foodbank Victoria (1720 metres) with the heavily tried Red Heeler saluting.
One of the stronger pushes from Flemington on the day, Red Heeler hovered around the $2.50-$2.60 mark for most of the day before jumping at the latter quote.
Going around with more than twice as much money as second pick in the market Ruby Skye ($5.50-$4.20), Red Heeler delivered a losing result to TAB.

They knew what they were doing in the Donate To Salvation Army Disaster Appeal (1100 metres).
Alabama Express ($5.50-$3.50) was the most notable firmer in the race and had attracted strong support since 9am today.
It was the second most popular runner in the event behind Banquo ($3.30 fav), which took top spot in the market from Condo’s Express ($3.50-$5) which was a big drifter all week. TAB had initially opened him up at $2.60 on Wednesday.

RACE FOUR
The favourites disappointed in the fourth event on the card – the Donate To Equine Bushfire Relief (2000 metres).
More than 85 percent of the market was riding on Blossom On Snow ($2.50-$3.30), Rogues Point ($3.20-$2.80) and Rapid Romance ($4.20-$5) with little chance given to the others.
Viscosity ($10-$8.50) and Mount Madeira ($9.50) had some eachway support but it paled in comparison to those at the top of the betting.

RACE FIVE
Punters were on the mark in the Kensington Stakes (1000 metres) with Bold Star narrowly gaining the verdict over roughie Causeway Girl ($23).
Bold Star had opened the day as a $4 chance but was backed into $2.90 second pick behind Time To Reign ($3.20-$2.80).
All Too Royal ($3-$3.60) was the other one punters were really keen to dive into.
Time To Reign was responsible for 45 percent of the market and held nearly twice as much money as the winner.
