Toby Edmonds has had a remarkable season thus far and Sportsbet.com.au punters believe that he can add the Rockhampton Cup (1600m) to his trophy cabinet this Saturday via Mr Epic.
The son of Husson resumed over 1400m at the Gold Coast on his home track and ran a beauty I thought when third to Brotherly Secret. He has a really good second up record and did win at this track/distance at this Carnival last year. He opened the $3.60 and did touch $3.70 before firming to $3.50 but is now back to his opening price.
Colour Charge is a proven blacktype performer and he has had admirers at $8, in from $8.50. El Campeador is another with support at odds. He opened $18 and has trimmed down to $15.
