Saturday sees some high-class racing at Caulfield with the running of multiple stakes races and a heap of top line horses including Tom Kitten who headlines the Kevin Heffernan Stakes.
In this article we highlight a few horses on the program who we feel are over the odds in early markets and could firm in betting before race time.
Race 5 – 12 Davida

Absolutely airborne this girl in recent runs having controlled races from the front at her last two rating well in winning.
Her last start at Geelong was a quality performance given she beat older horses and the form out of the race has been strong.
The key opposition here in Planet Red and Observer are both first up with bigger targets to come and are likely to position midfield or worse, spotting this girl a big start who is race fit. Think given that think the market will gravitate towards her late and she could firm in betting.
Geelong Race 5 I Davida
Davida was on tired legs at the finish, but the filly by Bivouac clings on to the lead from the fast finishing Ahha Ahha 💪

Race 10 – 1 Verdad
ODDS @ swiftbet – $14.00
Another horse who is race fit and in good form having chased talented gallopers Taken, Precious Charm and Saint George at his past three starts. He’s back in trip to the 1600m here and that seemingly is his best distance.
He has the chance to press right forward and take up the lead with the claim for flying Luke Cartwright, and if he can control this race, he could be a big price at $10+ in early betting given his class.
