Brave Smash is the odds on favourite for the Australia Stakes
He is the clear class runner of the field and as such, Brave Smash is the short priced elect in the Sportsbet.com.au market to take out the Australia Stakes (1200m) this Friday night at the Valley.
The Darren Weir trained former Japanese sprinter hasn’t raced since running a mighty third in The Everest behind Redzel. No public trials, but he did look sharp in a piece of work at Ballarat recently. He is $1.75 and unchanged.
Next best is another Group l performer, Mr Sneaky, who is at $4.20, out from $3.80, with regular rider Brenton Avdulla unable to make it to the Valley in time. Thronum and Flippant are rock solid at $5.50 and $9 respectively.
