In form stayer Durston is favourite with Ladbrokes for The Metropolitan (2400m) this Saturday at Randwick in what looks a competitive race.
Chris Waller has a very strong hand in the race, headlined by Durston, who has been dominant in the Wyong and Newcastle Cups his past two. He heads the market at $3.60.
He has a good hold on the market, with Stockman next best on the second line of betting at $7.50. Surefire is a half point further back and they are the lone runners at single figures.
