Boom Kiwi sprinter heads odds in the William Reid Stakes

Imperatriz is the red hot favourite in Friday night's William Reid Stakes

Kiwi mare Imperatriz heads the Ladbrokes.com.au market for the feature race at The Valley on Friday night, the Group l William Reid Stakes (1200m).

The Mark Walker trained mare was a narrow second to Artorius in the Canterbury Stakes at Randwick last time out and albeit she comes back 100m in trip, she is a clear favourite, sitting at $3.40.

Jigsaw is on the second line of betting at $7, a point clear of the well tried In The Congo, who has firmed in from $14. Another Kiwi mare, Babylon Berlin, is rock solid at $13 and has been supported.
