You Make Me Smile, a So You Think colt on debut for Steve O’Dea, is out of his former handy mare Bianca Jewel, who was Stakes class and did win at blacktype level early on in her career. The $13 opening price was crazy and the punters agreed, smashing her into $4.60.
Catalina Miss, who was runner up on debut, opened the $3.80 favourite but has eased to $4.60. The other key runner, Sista Act, another first starter, is rock solid at the $4.40 mark. Everything else is either steady or on the slide.
