One of the feature races at Flemington this Saturday is the Bobbie Lewis Quality (1200m), where Oliveanotherday dominates the market.

2026 Bobbie Lewis Quality Runner Preview:
1. Desert Lightning: 1400m back to 1200m with fresh legs tells me this is a prep run, perhaps for a race like the Toorak?
2. Arkansaw Kid: Capable but he was awful last start and just fair first up. He goes through to the keeper.
3. Hedged: Track was too wet fresh so forgive the Carlyon effort. Better set up here, Shinn booked, he’s a first four threat.
4. King Of Roseau: I really like King Of Roseau each way. He should be a clear second favourite behind Oliveanotherday given he flies fresh, he loves the straight course, he loves firm ground and outside the favourite…this race isn’t deep. Crazy price IMO.
5. Oliveanotherday: Oliveanotherday is the hype horse and does command respect. He was a dominant winner first up at Caulfield but I will say, he bludged behind the leader in a slowly run race and only dashed 150m to win in a weak race. He needs to step up to the plate but every time he has been asked to, he does successfully.
6. Abounding: Got a big finish when right…just not sure if she’s here to play. Market will be the guide.
7. Disneck: Disneck is three weeks between runs since resuming in the Show County where the race shape was against but he closed well enough behind Midnight In Tokyo. He has run well down the straight before, he’s one for exotics.
8. Enriched: Solid against the race shape in the Show County at Randwick. Think he’s going well, but not sure he’s good enough for a race like this.
9. Recon: Recon didn’t do a bad job I thought in the Regal Roller when resuming. He got off speed and while he was never a winning threat, he was pretty good late in the piece I thought behind Shadhavar. Fitter and up in trip, he should run a positive race.
10. Catch The Glory: SCR
11. Wonder Boy: Fabulous Autumn prep and has jumped out well for the return. Just think this might be a prep run for the Toorak.
12. Enxuto: Handy galloper but he’s not here to play.
13. Losesomewinmore: I think he’s the knockout. Super in the Carlyon but is a much better horse on a firmer deck and he loves the straight course. He’s very dangerous.
14. De Bergerac: Another that loves the straight…just think he lacks the class.
15. Royal Insignia: Don’t think he is up to these.
