Air Assault is a narrow favourite with betting agencies for the Ballarat Cup (2000m) this Saturday at Ballarat.
The Andrew Gluyas trained gelding wasn’t given much hope with the ride two weeks ago in the Cranbourne Cup but rising back up in trip to 2000m looks ideal and the market agrees, having him at $4.40.
Saint George is at $5 on the second line of betting, with Kingswood at $6. Poison Chalice is at $9 and is being kept safe with most wagering apps.
