A not so Savvy punter has started Stakes day on the back foot after their $60,000 bet was well beaten in the second on the card.
The punter with the TAB placed a $60,000 bundle bet on either Wetakemanhattan, Lucky For All, Grinzinger Star or Starcaster to win win the second race on the card at odds of $1.08 although none ran in the top three.
The punter was in the hunt at the 200m mark although the horses finishing wide were too good for the punters selections with his top placed finish being Starcaster who ran fourth.
