The Blue Diamond Prelude (Fillies) shapes as a crucial early test for leading two-year-old fillies, with speed and raw talent on show over 1100 metres at Caulfield.
As a key lead-up to the Blue Diamond Stakes, the race often highlights which youngsters are ready to step up when the pressure rises later in the carnival.
The fillies Prelude will see exciting maiden winner Jacaranda up against Blue Diamond Preview winner Rubi’s Choice and Geelong Diamond winner Moana Spirit.
Expect also to see the likes of Streisand, I Am Aria and Gin Twist in the nominations.
