Public Attention is set to continue his racing career in Hong Kong after being sold to new owners in the lucrative Asian racing circuit.
Originally purchased by Coolmore for $160,000 as a yearling, the colt made a strong impression on Australian tracks.
He claimed victory in the Group 3 Eskimo Prince Stakes and later ran third in the Group 2 Arrowfield 3YO Sprint in April β his final outing on local soil.
Trainer Michael Kent Jnr, who prepared the horse alongside Mick Price, praised Public Attentionβs qualities.
βHe was quite lucky for our stable,β Kent Jnr said.
βI still think he’s on the up and up and he’ll make a lovely horse in the Hong Kong environment.”
“He’s got the absolute best temperament, he’s an extremely sound horse and above all, he’s got smart ability.”
Kent Jnr believes the best is yet to come for the colt, backing him to succeed overseas.
