Two mares who have been dominant in lesser grades have opened at the head of all-in odds for Saturday’s Let’s Elope Stakes.
Fidelia and My Pendant have been progressing well in lower grades and will take a step up in class where they are the equal $4.00 favourites for Saturday’s G2 Let’s Elope Stakes at Flemington.
Fidelia returned in the G3 Cockram Stakes and was a an eye catcher from the back where she hit the line strongly so there are no surprises she is at the top of the market with My Pendant who has won her past two in town.
On the third line of betting is class galloper Fundamentalist who will be looking to return to the winners stall and is at $4.50.
The market then goes out to Miss Siska and Sylvia’s Mother at $8.00 who are the only other horses in single figures.
