Racing Victoria stewards this morning passed Melbourne Cup 2016 second favourite Jameka fit to run in Tuesday’s race.
RV stewards inspected all 32 horses who remained in Melbourne Cup contention with Jameka the only horse who required a further inspection due to shifting a near fore shoe.
Jameka is the second favourite in Melbourne Cup betting but has drifted from $5.50 out to $6.50 following yesterdays news.
