This Sunday will see the richest race in New Zealand being run and won- the $1 Million ($NZ) Karaka Million (1200m) for the juveniles and it has Australian flavour to it with trainer John Sadler and jockey Ben Melham combining with the impressive debut winner at Flemington back in December- Sell In May.
Anthony Freedman and Craig Williams will combine with Ockham’s Razor, who finished second in his lone run behind Sweet Little Lies, who ran a very poor race in the Blue Diamond Preview on Australia Day. Corey Brown, Damien Oliver and Hugh Bowman also have a ride in the race while kiwi rider Michael Walker will make the trip back home to partner Hogwarts Express, the most experienced horse in the event.
