David Pipe’s top class grey Grands Crus could put his unbeaten record over fences on the line at Newbury on Thursday.
The six-year-old found only the mighty Big Buck’s too strong in last season’s World Hurdle and again at Aintree the following month.
He made a brilliant debut over the larger obstacles at Cheltenham a week ago and could now step up to Grade Two level in the Novice’s Chase on the first day of Newbury’s Hennessy meeting.
“He came out of last Friday’s race in good order and all being well we will aim to run him at Newbury next week,” Pipe said.”
Join Together and Mossley feature among the initial entries, although nominations have been extended.
