Lost In The Moment is on target for the Ebor at York on August 20 as 83 remain in the big handicap.
Godolphin’s four-year-old showed that he will be a force to be reckoned with in the Cup races in future years after flashing home to take second behind Opinion Poll, also owned by Godolphin, in the Goodwood Cup last week.
That was his first attempt over any distance further than 11 furlongs (2200m), but he showed stamina to be his forte.
“He ran a huge race at Goodwood,” trainer Saeed bin Suroor said.
“It showed that in the future he will be a horse for all the staying races.
“He was a bit unfortunate, he was unlucky because he met plenty of trouble in running and got trapped behind horses.
“He’s in good form now and has plenty of options but the Ebor is likely to be his next race.
“After the Ebor he’s likely to step back up in class.”
The likes of Saptapadi, Caulfield Cup aspirant Tactician, Modun and Blissful Moment are all still engaged.
Northumberland Plate winner Tominator, Ted Spread and Fox Hunt are others of note.
However, Aidan O’Brien’s Quest For Peace was among the 18 taken out.
