Saturdays Listed Sheraco Stakes for the Fillies and Mares see’s the come back of Gai Waterhouses star Mare “More Joyous” who has opened and remains as the early market favourite to win the $65,000 winners cheque.
More Joyous is returning to the track on Saturday in the Sheraco Stakes after winning 2 x Group 2 races in her previous preparation over summer, she comes into the race as the $2.30 favourite although will need to win whilst carrying 59kg.
In the second line of betting is the Group 1 placed Mare ‘Sister Madly’ who opened at $7 and has been solidly backed into $5 and looks to be the pick of the runners punters feel can beat the favourite.

Other runners in the market are De Lightning Ridge who has had support at $6, Dorf Command at $8.50 and perhaps the best backed runner in the race “Avenue” who opened at $13 and has been backed into $9.50.
