So You Think’s little brother has been withdrawn from Sydney’s Easter Yearling Sale after being diagnosed with suspected wobbler syndrome.
The condition is usually a malformation or compression of the spinal cord which affects a horse’s gait and co-ordination.
Mark Webster, chief executive of auctioneers William Inglis, made the announcement via Twitter.
The full-brother to the dual Cox Plate winner was expected to be one of the star attractions at next week’s sale.
Among the other featured lots are a half-sister to champion mare Black Caviar and a half-brother to triple Melbourne Cup winner Makybe Diva.
Last year’s sale topper was All Too Hard, a half-brother to Black Caviar who was knocked down to Nathan Tinkler for $1.025 million.
All Too Hard is unbeaten in three race starts.
He was favourite for Saturday’s Golden Slipper until Tuesday morning when Tinkler and trainer John Hawkes decided against running.
The three-day Easter sale begins next Tuesday.
