So You Think is the early favourite for his defence of the Eclipse Stakes which is expected to be his last race before he returns to Australia to stand at Coolmore Stud.

Race sponsor Coral has installed the 10 time Group One winner at 10-11 for Saturday’s feature at Sandown with late entry Farhh next best at 4-1.

“So You Think may be odds-on for back-to-back Coral-Eclipse victories, but it looks as if there will be high class opposition to the favourite on Saturday, with Godolphin’s supplementary entry, Farhh, leading the challenge,” Coral’s David Stevens said.

Godolphin’s lightly-raced four-year-old Farhh was an unlucky third behind So You Think in the Prince of Wales’s Stakes at Royal Ascot when he made the leap from handicaps to Group One company.

Farhh is trained by Saeed bin Suroor and his Godolphin counterpart Mahmood Al Zarooni could be represented by Dubai World Cup winner Monterosso and City Style.

A total of 15 runners are still engaged in the Group One, with So You Think’s trainer Aidan O’Brien also leaving in Daddy Long Legs, Windsor Palace and Robin Hood.

John Gosden has earmarked the race for last year’s King George winner Nathaniel while Sir Henry Cecil’s multiple Group One winner Twice Over is also a likely runner.

Andrew Balding’s Bonfire and Brian Meehan’s Cogito are the three-year-old possible runners, along with Daddy Long Legs.

A five-time Group One winner under Bart Cummings in Australia, So You Think has added another five elite victories in Europe since Dato Tan Chin Nam sold a controlling interest in the horse to Coolmore in 2010.
