She’s A Fox stamped herself as a serious Golden Rose contender with another emphatic victory at Warwick Farm on Saturday.
The Anthony Cummings-trained filly firmed to $9 with TAB Sportsbet for the $1 million Golden Rose (1400m) on September 15 after dismantling a small field in the Listed Rosebud (1200m).

Cummings, who also has Ninth Legion and Your Song on a Golden Rose path, isn’t concerned about sending She’s A Fox up against the country’s top colts in the Group One race.
“Not when they are that good,” Cummings said.
Only Black Caviar’s half-brother All Too Hard ($3.40), Golden Slipper hero Pierro ($4.60) and Blue Diamond winner Samaready ($6) are higher in betting for the Golden Rose.
A well-backed favourite, She’s A Fox ($1.35) settled at the tail of the five-horse Rosebud field but Hugh Bowman brought the daughter of Fastnet Rock into the race rounding the home turn and her impressive turn of foot was too much for her rivals to handle as she surged clear by 3-3/4-lengths.
“She’s very good. You don’t need to be Einstein to work that out,” Cummings said.
“It’s really a matter of keeping her well, keeping her safe and turning up on raceday.”
Urquidez ($10) led home the rest of the field with Secret Delight ($31) a head away third.
Cummings said he would make a final decision on She’s A Fox’s spring campaign after the filly runs against her own age and sex in the Silver Shadow Stakes (1200m) in two weeks.
She can stick to the four-race fillies series or run in the Golden Rose and then go to the Flight Stakes.
Cummings said the Golden Rose option was the preferred one.
“It’s the only million-dollar race in the spring here so if you’ve got a horse going well enough you’d be mad if you’re not in it,” he said.
She’s A Fox is a full-sister to Group One winner Foxwedge and the Rosebud win was her first at stakes level.
