The Queen Elizabeth has suffored a major shake-up in favouritism with last weeks Doncaster Mile winner Rangirangdoo being scratched from the race.Favourtism has now falling to Monaco Consul at $3.60 after receiving only 55.5kg although with a very competitive small field there isnt much between the top four selections with Road To Rock at $3.80, Doctor Fremantle $4 and Palacio De Crystal $5.
There hasnt been much movement with the betting although at this stage the best backed runner in the race is the Melbourne runner Doctor Fremantle, after his very impressive 6th in the Group 2 Blamey Stakes at Flemington in which he was held up most of the way down the straight and making up ground when getting out late.
There has also been money for the Grahem Begg trained Mare Palacio De Crystal whom has shown a lot of potentialthis campaign but hasnt had things to suit.
It looks to be a very competitive race even with only 8 runners starting, if your looking at having a bet on this years Queen Elizabeth Stakes we recommend sportsbet.com.au who are offering all readers a $300 free bet to all new account holders.
