The funeral service to farewell popular racing personality Tom Brassel will be held on Tuesday.
The former racing editor of the Daily Mirror died on Wednesday at the age of 80 after a long illness.
Brassel is survived by his wife Shirley and five sons, Tony, Stephen, Mark, Terry and Chris.
Terry Brassel is the only one who did not follow his father into racing.
Brassel’s funeral will be held at All Saints Church in Liverpool at 10.30am (AEST).
