Since news filtered through this morning that Arcadia Queen will be moving to the Chris Waller stable for the TAB Everest Carnival, the Bob Peters-owned filly has shortened for the TAB Everest and Golden Eagle.
Arcadia Queen was $26 at 9am and is now $11 with TAB for the TAB Everest at Royal Randwick on October 19.
The three-year-old Pierro filly was $6 for the Golden Eagle and is now sharing favouritism with Brutal at $4.50 for the Golden Eagle at Rosehill on November 2.
“Arcadia Queen announced herself as a potential star during the Perth Masters last year when victorious in the WA Champion Fillies Stakes, WA Guineas and Kingston Town Stakes,” TAB’s Trent Langskaill said.
“After Bob Peters declared on Perth’s TAB Radio that he decided to look for someone with an Everest slot, Arcadia Queen’s price for the Everest and inaugural Golden Eagle tightened sharply.”
TAB’s representative for the TAB Everest, five-time Group 1 winner Santa Ana Lane, is the $5 favourite for the world’s richest race on turf.
