Ladbrokes.com.au have equal favourites in their all in market for the Group l Metropolitan (2400m) this Saturday at Randwick.
Benaud was there to win the Kingston Town two weeks ago but found one better in Alegron. Primed for the 2400m though and is favourite at $4.20 alongside Durston, who has won the Wyong Cup and Newcastle Cup his past two.
That pair dominate betting, with Cadre Du Noir next best at $10, who is on the seven day back up. A point further back is Stockman, who is ticking along nicely for Joe Pride.
