7 Uncertain Glory (Bet Now: $7.50) was an impressive debut winner over 1000m at Warwick Farm, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive effort. She got better as the race went on there so rising to 1200m looks ideal and she has struck a winnable race.

1 Keen To Exceed (Bet Now: $2.80) steps up to 1200m after a debut second over 1100m here four weeks ago when off speed and chased with purpose in the straight when second to impressive winner Bangkok Hottie. Tick over trial was strong, stable flying, she appeals.

2 Friendly Fire (Bet Now: $6.00) was a real eye catcher on debut during the Wagga Carnival, getting back to near last in the run but worked home with real purpose when second. If he can use the inside gate to advantage, he’s dangerous.

8 Mogwai (Bet Now: $41.00) should land near the front and only run well, as seen over this trip at Kembla Grange last time, trying his guts out but just found one better in Magical Moments. Good racing style, and with upside, he’ll do me each way.

2 Audrey’s Lane (Bet Now: $9.00) is a gallant mare that should be around the mark, as seen three weeks ago at Hawkesbury when leading and giving a good kick but just found a couple better when third to Bella Khadijah. Front end control, she takes running down.

9 My Phar Lady (Bet Now: $11.00) is a Team Freedman trained mare that resumes. She did some nice things when last in work and did establish herself as a Midway/metro class horse. Just one soft trial to get ready, watch betting.

8 Speedy Henry (Bet Now: $21.00) is finding it hard to win but he’s flying. He ran second to Lord Remlap on the Kenso, finishing hard from off speed when second to Lord Remlap. If he gets room to move and wind up, he can win.

9 Wayburn (Bet Now: $4.80) is heading in the right direction for Matty Dunn. He led throughout at Ipswich last start and yes, the pattern was in his corner, but he found when required to score. Good racing style, in the right camp, he commands respect.

5 Cambar (Bet Now: $20.00) was trying to put his name in lights for The Kosciuszko in the Spring last year but didn’t quite run up to expectation and was spelled. Resumed with a strong second at Wagga and off that return, clearly appeals against these.

9 Saint Emilion (Bet Now: $9.00) for me. He ran at Gosford two weeks ago and just got too far back in the run. He made up some headway but on the tight track, he was never threatening. Like him back onto the bigger track and there is no depth at all to this race.

2 Casual Connection (Bet Now: $10.00) was well specked at odds in the Warrnambool Cup given his love of wet ground and he tried hard but even for him, the track was too testing and he dropped out, like many others did in the race. Prior efforts were sound, not dismissing.

7 Hutchence (Bet Now: $41.00) has been freshened up since the Sydney Cup where he was well and truly thrown in the deep end and ran accordingly. Tick over trial was solid, back to this level, he’s an improver at odds.

Big fan of 13 Sunsprite (Bet Now: $4.80). Didn’t beat much at Muswellbrook last start but the manner in which she went about it and how strong/dominant she was to the line was impressive. Needs to win this if she is to head to the Oaks and confident she can measure up against these.

3 Boomeroo (Bet Now: $12.00) did a good job against the boys in the Chairmans at Morphettville. Settled off speed, she came with a well timed run but just missed when second to Impulsive Reaction. Back to 1800m, runs on the board, rates highly.

9 Eynesbury (Bet Now: $5.00) is racing like a rise to 1800m will be ideal. He ran over the mile at Kembla last start when off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat I thought behind McAdam, who is flying at present. Rise in trip suits, will be strong late, knockout hope.

12 Surf’s Up (Bet Now: $5.00) has to be just about winning this if they have blacktype aspirations. Pattern was against first up on the Kenso. Then last start at Warwick Farm, I am not sure she was happy on the tight track and only got warm very late when second, a close up second. Hard fit, 1400m, big track…D Day.

10 Scintilla (Bet Now: $16.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. Just looked in need of the run fresh at Randwick before going to Gosford where she had zero luck nearer the inside, which was quicksand. Wide gate, gets room to move and love her up to 1400m. Takes beating.

4 Jellicious (Bet Now: $12.00) is third up from a spell and should be at peak fitness. Just pipped late when resuming at Rosehill before going to Randwick where she landed in a decent spot near the speed and was there to win but didn’t fire and was a bit on the plain side late. Hard fit now, her best is clearly good enough.

11 King Of The Sea… (Bet Now: $2.70) what was that ride at Gosford? He must be doing a lot of work at the stables for Ciaron Maher, but gee Adam Farragher…he looks an ordinary rider and the ride on this horse at Gosford…less said the better. Should have won but it was basically a barrier trial. He’ll love the bigger track, and want to include him just in case he runs here and not the 2400m.

3 Rotagilla (Bet Now: $6.00) was somewhat unlucky in The Coast I thought. Just got held up and checked at the wrong time when wanting to build the revs and should have finished closer behind Athanatos. 2000m should be fine, he appeals.

10 Tazima (Bet Now: $5.00) is a few weeks between runs since racing at Hawkesbury, chasing strongly from off speed but just couldn’t quite get there when second to Sacrify. Like the rise to 2000m, weight relief, he’s in the mix.

18 Spione (Bet Now: $3.90) is flying for Team Hawkes and should take beating here. Big effort at Hawkesbury three weeks ago, closing strongly in the worst going behind Asgarda when third. First up win against the pattern was a beauty, he’s come back really well, he’s top seed for me.

12 Asgarda (Bet Now: $13.00) got the beaut run in transit at Hawkesbury and took advantage to win. She settled near the speed and credit to her, she was there to be beaten, but she found under pressure to fend them off and score. Good racing style, she appeals.

2 Konasana (Bet Now: $41.00) should be better for the first up run, which came in the Hawkesbury Crown. She got back to near last in the run and failed to come on when down the track. Fitter, give in the track, she’s a definite improver.

3 Snack Bar (Bet Now: $3.30) for me. He’s an enigma and did let punters down when last in work, but for me, I do think he’s humming off the trials, the latest over 1030m, which is a good grounding for a 1000m return. He’ll be strong late, loves getting his toe in…he’ll do me.

2 Amazing Eagle (Bet Now: $4.20) is a fascinating runner. Formerly with Ryan/Alexiou, he is now with Bjorn Baker and we know how good this stable is with a tried horse. Two strong trials under the belt, same as Snack Bar, the latest over 1030m, so the grounding is there. Watch betting.

7 Negotiations (Bet Now: $91.00) should be better for the first up run, which came at Hawkesbury where he got back to near last in the run and was okay late without threatening behind Golden Straand. If he can settle closer and be within range, he’s dangerous at odds.

12 King Tut (Bet Now: $3.80) should love getting to 1400m. He ran over 1300m at Bendigo last time when off speed and worked to the line with real purpose in a good effort in defeat. He’ll be strong late and hopefully can settle closer in the run.

17 Invader Zim (Bet Now: $4.60) ran third to Iceman at Warwick Farm at the midweeks when resuming. He sat off speed and worked to the line well enough in defeat I thought. Fitter, proven Randwick performer, he’s right in the mix.

10 Iceman (Bet Now: $12.00) steps up to 1400m after a win at the midweeks over 1300m at Warwick Farm, giving them a start and a beating in a brilliant finale and effort to score. Harder here, but he’s in form, likes getting his toe in…he’s dangerous at odds.

NEXT BEST: Race Five Number 13 Sunsprite

LONG SHOT: Race Two Number 8 Mogwai
