Adam Page gives us his runner by runner preview for tomorrow’s Skyline Stakes at Warwick Farm racecourse, view his analysis, tips and selections.
1.Hot Snitzel
Was very impressive on debut but then did plenty of things wrong in the Inglis Nursery behind Pane In The Glass. Has since been gelded, trialled well and is right in contention
2. Diamond To Pegasus
Surprise winner of the Canonbury then didn’t have much luck in the Silver Slipper behind Satin Shoes. I wouldn’t underestimate this gelding. He is a first four hope at worst.
3. Written Consent
Ran on well on debut then just missed behind Diamond To Pegasus in the Canonbury. Has trialled well since and is a definite chance.
4. Irish Times
Won well on debut then bumped into Foxwedge and Anise last Saturday. Drawn the rails, he’ll be hard to beat against this lot.
5. Uate
Won his maiden at Newcastle before blowing his rivals away on the Kensington track. He looks like a star in the making and should be followed with confidence.
6. Flight Of Pegasus
Was a good winner on debut at Wyong but I’d be surprised if he featured here. Needs it easier.
7. Dream Choice
Wasn’t flash in the Canonbury after having the run of the race. Bossy is on top. Can he get something out of this colt.
8. Danger Lurks
Was a bit unlucky in the Silver Slipper but he was beaten a long way so drastic improvement is needed in order to win here.
9. Alkie
Was disappointing in the Silver Slipper after getting the gun run. Not here.
10. Boys On Tour
For all the hype, you think he’d have shown something. But he hasn’t yet the stable have put him in this race so they obviously still have confidence in him. I don’t.
11. Induna
Looks like he wants a mile. They’ll be too nippy for him in this.
