The Darren Weir trained Mahuta has opened as the $3.30 favourite for Saturday’s Bletchingly Stakes at Caulfield racecourse.
Mahuta will be returning from a very successful first preparation in which he won the G2 Sandown Guineas, G2 Autumn Stakes and the G3 Carbine Club Stakes.
His preparation however finished with a disappointing 14th in the G1 Australian Guineas.
