Wednesday’s meeting at Cranbourne has been abandoned after heavy overnight rain left surface water across the course.
Racing Victoria stewards confirmed the decision at 6:56am after the track received 16mm of rain overnight.
The rainfall resulted in surface water remaining on the racing surface, with stewards determining the track was unsuitable for racing.
As a result, all races scheduled for the August 5 meeting have been abandoned.
