A rare opportunity to invest in one of Australia’s hottest young stallions has emerged, with a 1 per cent share in Ole Kirk to go under the hammer at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale on Tuesday.
Standing at Vinery Stud, Ole Kirk is Australia’s leading first season sire and has made a flying start to his stud career. His first crop includes Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner O’ Ole, Breeders’ Plate victor King Kirk, and unbeaten stakes winner Legacy Bound.
“This represents a great opportunity in a young stallion that we have always believed in and who is now demonstrating how important to our industry he could be,” said Vinery bloodstock manager Adam White.
“This horse is fully booked for the coming season and I’m sure there are many breeders out there that will identify the chance to utilise a young stallion on the way up.”
Ole Kirk, a son of Written Tycoon, has already produced 11 individual winners from just 22 runners, four of which have scored at stakes level. Reflecting his strong start, his 2024 service fee has been lifted to $99,000 (inc GST).
The share will be offered as part of the breeding stock section of the National Sale series held on the Gold Coast over the coming 12 days.
