There were some shocking scenes in a race at Nagoya on Friday as a field of runners continued to race and dodge an unconscious jockey.
Female jockey Aoi Kinomae fell shortly after the race started at Nagoya in Japan where she was dislodged and fell unconscious after hitting the ground although the race continued with her follow jockeys having to dodge her as the field came around for a second time.
Despite the frightening fall the race was allowed to continue and results stood.
No news has been announced as to the condition of Aoi Kinomae following the fall.
