Online bookmaker sportsbet slashed Chautauqua’s price from $6.50 into $4.60 following his stunning win in the T.J. Smith Stakes.
A raft of bets came for the grey and he is gaining ground on Winx.
The superstar mare remains the best backed runner and is equal second favourite, at $8.00, with She Will Reign.
English, who was a game second to Chautauqua also tightened from $34 to $15 for the $10 million Randwick sprint.
