Alma Vale Thoroughbreds shines at 2025 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale

Alma Vale Thoroughbreds made a huge impact at the 2025 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale, with three of their horses selling for a total of $1.2 million.

The Scone-based stud, which was established in 2023, presented its first solo draft, starting strong when a Brutal colt out of Dagny fetched $200,000 from Pride Racing.

β€œWe always knew he was a really nice horse at home, big, strong and forward, just like his father,” said Stud Manager Oscar Engelbrecht.

Another standout was a Deep Field filly, which sold for $350,000, followed by an Earthlight colt, who went for $475,000 to Yulong, surpassing expectations.

Engelbrecht credited the team’s hard work for the stud’s impressive results, which included a 100% clearance rate in Book 1.
